SLTF Extends Appreciation to Minister of Education

The Students Loan Trust Fund (SLTF) has extended its heartfelt appreciation to the Minister of Education, Honourable Haruna Iddrisu, for his unwavering support towards the successful launch of the Free Tertiary Education for Persons with Disability program.

The SLTF team, led by the CEO, Dr. Saajida Shiraz, expressed their gratitude for the Minister’s dedication to making tertiary education more accessible and affordable for all Ghanaians, particularly persons with disabilities.

The Minister, in a response, commended the SLTF for being instrumental in the implementation of the No Fees Stress, Free Tertiary Education for Persons with Disability, Students Loan, and Students Loan Plus initiatives. He again praised the SLTF’s efforts in driving financial inclusion and promoting access to quality education for all Ghanaians.

“We are grateful for the Minister’s vision and commitment to education,” said Dr. Shiraz. “His support has been instrumental in making this program a reality, and we look forward to a continued collaboration to ensure its success.”

The Free Tertiary Education for Persons with Disability program is a transformative initiative aimed at removing financial barriers and promoting inclusive education. The program’s launch has been hailed as a significant milestone in Ghana’s quest for equitable and quality education.

The SLTF is committed to working with the Ministry of Education and other stakeholders to ensure the successful implementation of the Free Tertiary Education for Persons with Disability program and other initiatives aimed at promoting inclusive education in Ghana.
