The Students Loan Trust Fund (SLTF) has handed over seven laptops to Ghana Senior High School (GHANASCO), Tamale, as part of its corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiative, under the auspices of the Ministry of Education. The donation ceremony took place on Monday, December 8, 2025, with a team led by Dr. Saajida Shiraz, CEO of SLTF.
The laptops were awarded to deserving teachers and students of GHANASCO, as a gesture of appreciation for their hard work and dedication, and to empower them to do more in their academic and professional pursuits. The aim is to boost their access to digital learning and teaching tools, enhancing the overall educational experience at the school.
Dr. Shiraz, speaking at the event, highlighted SLTF’s commitment to promoting education and recognizing excellence. “We want to appreciate the efforts of these outstanding teachers and students and empower them with the resources they need to achieve even more,” she said.
Headmaster of Ghana Senior High School, Mr. Douglas Yakubu Haruna expressed gratitude for the donation, noting that it would motivate recipients to continue excelling and inspire others. “This thoughtful gesture from SLTF and the Ministry of Education is a great encouragement to our school community. We appreciate the recognition of our hard work,” he added.
The event was attended by school officials, beneficiaries, and SLTF representatives, showcasing the Trust Fund’s dedication to fostering academic excellence and digital inclusion in Ghana’s Education.
